30 years of continuous development
HellenicPlast started its business activity in 1992, as a family operation, producing technical and industrial plastic components.
From 2007, the reins of the company were gradually taken over by the second generation, which has been developing its activities, expanding the production unit and constantly increasing its human and production potential.
Today, 30 years later, the company occupies an important position in the field of food packaging, both in Greece and in the European market, specializing in plastic packaging for dairy products, ice cream, spreads and antipasti, providing high-level services and producing a wide range of modern quality products, worthy of the demands of the domestic and international market.
Investing in know-how
Since the beginning of 2018, HellenicPlast has been based in the industrial area of Oraiokastro in Thessaloniki, in a total of 7,000 sqm area, housing the company's administrative offices, the mold manufacturing and maintenance workshop, the new state-of-the-art 2,500 sq.m. plastic packaging production unit and the warehouses.
After the expansion of the company's facilities and continuous investments in technological upgrading and automation, the new HellenicPlast workshop is a well-equipped and staffed space, where molds for the production of plastic food packaging are designed, manufactured and maintained.
The packaging is designed with modern design programs, by an experienced and specialized staff and produced by new injection machines, suitable for food packaging.
The company also undertakes the decoration of the products with polypropylene (PP) labels, by automated robotic machines, using the In-Mold-Labeling (IML) technology, to ensure the best possible presentation of the packaging in the market.
